Ankle Strap

I am trying to attach a peacock feather to an ankle strap of a high heel shoe what can I use?

I want the peacock feather to dangle from the ankle strap and be removable but I don't want it to look tacky these are expensive shoes... what type of hardware should I use? I tried jewelry findings but again not sure what would work best...

I would use my trusty hot glue gun.

oops, my bad for not thourouly reading the question.... here is my amended answer.

Go to the sewing notions department and find some adhesive backed velcro. Cut a piece large enough to attach the feather, but small enough that it does not show around the feather. You can use small scissors to trim it to just the right size. Then if you ever want to remove the velcro "tab" from your shoes, the adhesive will remove easily with some orange based cleanser such as "goo gone" or even "orange glo".
