Chemical differences from coffee brewing?
I am very sensitive to caffeine, and even when I drink decaf coffee from a drip machine, or order a decaf espresso from Starbucks at rush hour (when its more likely to taste 'burnt'), I am susceptible to irritability, anxiety, and all the other hypoglycemic symptoms. I only indulge once every two weeks for that reason, and only when I really need a pick me up before going into work (though I still drink decaf).
When I order from Starbucks when it's nearly empty, and they take their sweet time preparing a single espresso, however, I get no side effects at all (and it tastes fantastic to boot). Can someone explain this to me, and if so, can I replicate this at home without throwing down $11,000?
I would add some tea in there for a little change up.It sounds like coffee isn't your bag.
