Flat Boots

Do you think wearing flat boots with shorts is skanky?

I wanted to wear shorts tomorrow but i don't want to walk in a heel and i don't feel conforatble in flats since i'm so short. So i wanted to wear flat boots since itll cover my calves and not make my calves seem so short. Do you think its too much?
