How do Black Africans value human life?

With the horrors of Rewanda still fresh, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Darfur and all the other recent atrocities in Africa how does Black Africa value human life?

Guy U - You raise a difficult and troubling question. The problem with Africa is you have many extremes. You have those living in dirt poverty while you have a very select few who live like Kings. In Europe by and large we live relatively good lifestyles. Imagine if suddenly we lived where we didnt know where our next meal was coming from and yet you look to your neighbour and see that he has everything.

Then introduce tribal lines into the mix and suddenly you have chaos. Look at the way Hitler managed to convince dirt poor Germans that the Jews had all the money and were the scourge of society.

The only way to stop this is to bring all of Africa up and by stopping the tinpot despots that run the place.

I also think it would do them a world of good if some 'whitemen' got involved (ie Britain and France) and introduced some kind of structure rather than letting them run the country into the ground because they dont want outside intereference.

Sadly for me Africa is a basket case and always will be till you have a complete shakeup of the continent and that is not going to happen anytime soon. Certainly not in my lifetime.
