Large Dot

Our thermostat has the #'s large and vertical with just a dot between each one. How do we read it?

Do the large numbers signify the temp and the dots just the mid-point or do the dots above or below the large number signify the temperature?

Dots are mid values. ..And your thermostat is as accurate as the place it inhabits on the wall. Get a digital thermometer and check temps in various parts of the room and house. adjust your heating vents so your most used rooms have more of a flow. and open your bedroom vents before bed closing them in the morning. In the end ...regardless of the number on the thermometer you want it, in winter where you are comfortable in the living area with an extra layer of clothing (sweater or robe ETC).
