Question about dog boots?

I have a boxer puppy and is looking to get cold here so I have been its dog coats. When are you supposed to put boots on their dog? Only in the snow? Or do you use them when it falls a certain temperature? And if so, what temperature?

My daughter and her Shetland Sheepdog lived in Chicago last winter. They had a lot Snow and sidewalks are often salted to prevent slipping. She used the boots for the first time it snowed. Really, Fall / Top contributor .... I reaally do not think you have your 'identity' copyright. I'll guess there are others you have named Autumn ... you about yourself.
