Snow Flat
Does snow melt faster as the air temperature goes up?
I didn't take Thermo and my brain is flat.
We have a driveway full of snow and it is 43 degrees outside. Will the snow melt off today or should I get out and shovel it?
Thanks umpredictable!
It is melting but I guess what I am really asking is at 40 degrees it is melting, but at 80 degrees would it melt twice as fast?
At 43 degrees, yes snow can melt. But if the the low temperature at night is below 32, some wet areas may refreeze. My suggestion would to sprinkle your outside stairs and driveway with rock salt.
